2020年4月24日，美國公司Kirsch Research and Development, LLC, of Simi Valley, CA向美國ITC提出337立案調查申請，主張對美出口、在美進口和在美銷售的該產品侵犯了其專利權（美國注冊專利號8765251），請求美國ITC發布有限排除令、禁止令。

美國國際貿易委員會將于立案后45天內確定調查結束期。除美國貿易代表基于政策原因否決的情況外，美國國際貿易委員會在337案件中發布的救濟令自發布之日生效并于發布之日后的第60日起具有終局效力。
