2021年2月1日，美國國際貿易委員會（ITC）發布公告稱，對特定視頻處理設備及其組件和數字智能電視及其下游產品（Certain Video Processing Devices, Components Thereof, and Digital Smart Televisions Containing the Same，調查編碼：337-TA-1222）作出337部分終裁：對本案行政法官于2021年1月15日作出的初裁（No. 25）不予復審，即基于撤回，終止本案對所有列名被告關于專利號8,832,297的第18-29和32-39 項申訴、專利號10,212,486的第15-19 和21-25項申訴、專利號10,412,141的第20-22 和26-30 項申訴、專利號10,484,749的第10-18項申訴的調查。

2020年11月12日，美國國際貿易委員會（ITC）發布終裁：對本案行政法官于2020年10月27日作出的初裁（No. 3）不予復審，即為本案設定17.5個月的調查期，預計2022年4月4日結束本案調查。

2020年10月14日，美國國際貿易委員會（ITC）投票決定對特定視頻處理設備及其組件和數字智能電視及其下游產品（Certain Video Processing Devices, Components Thereof, and Digital Smart Televisions Containing the Same）啟動337調查（調查編碼：337-TA-1222）。

2020年9月10日，美國DivX, LLC, of San Diego, CA向美國ITC提出337立案調查申請，主張對美出口、在美進口和在美銷售的該產品侵犯了其專利權（美國注冊專利號8,832,297、10,212,486、10,412,141、10,484,749），請求美國ITC發布有限排除令、禁止令。
